Scene Genesis Launches AuditSentry

Pittsford, N.Y. — Scene Genesis Inc., Pittsford, N.Y., a provider of insurance technology solutions and services, unveiled AuditSentry, software that lets auto insurers review repair estimates for compliance with audit rules.

AuditSentry represents an improvement over a manual estimate-review process, say company representatives. The Web-based tool accepts data files from all three major auto estimating systems and verifies compliance against the insurer’s audit rules, tracks changes and compares them to submitted supplements.

“Given the sheer number volume of claims, enforcing guidelines manually is hit or miss,” says Ian Cunningham, Scene Genesis CEO. “This tool ensures automated consistency every time.”

According to Scene Genesis, AuditSentry translates EMS data—the industry standard for data transfer—and displays the repair estimates line items. The solution also electronically documents requested changes in the estimate and highlights noncompliant lines. In addition, it creates a .PDF document for easy distribution of change requests. All EMS data and documentation is stored and can be accessed on the Web so insurers do not need to maintain it in their systems.
