SS&C Acquires Unisys’ MAXIMIS Business

SS&C Technologies Inc., a provider of financial services software and software-enabled services, expanded its client outreach by acquiring the assets and related business associated with Unisys Corp.'s MAXIMIS software. MAXIMIS is a real-time, intranet-enabled investment accounting application with comprehensive support for domestic and international securities trading.

"We feel this transaction represents an excellent strategic fit, and we expect it will create new opportunities to sell to existing and new clients."
SS&C will continue to support the MAXIMIS system and integrate the MAXIMIS workforce with other SS&C experts to deliver an enhanced customer experience, the company says.
