Summit Re Announces Executive Addition

October 8, 2008

Ft. Wayne, Ind. — Summit Reinsurance Services Inc., a full-service managing underwriter with an exclusive relationship with Swiss Re, announced the addition of Greg Demars to its executive staff. He will work out of the company's new Minneapolis office. 
 
Demars joined Summit Re on September 15 as VP-actuarial and underwriting.    Previously, he was EVP at HCC Life Insurance Co.,  Kennesaw, Ga., where he was responsible for the Healthcare Risk Management and LifeTrac divisions. Demars will join Brian Shively of Summit Re in directing the underwriting and pricing of all managed care medical excess business at Summit Re.
