Columbia Insurance Names Boone VP & General Counsel

September 26, 2008

Columbia, Mo. — Gina Boone has recently joined Columbia Insurance Group, Columbia, Mo., as VP and general counsel. Boone will serve as the company’s chief legal officer, providing direction and oversight to regulatory and compliance initiatives, as well as serving as a liaison on all legislative and lobbying activities.

Previously Boone served as assistant VP/general counsel for a regional property/casualty company located in Texas. She earned her undergraduate from Texas A&M University and later her Juris Doctorate degree from the Baylor University School of Law. Boone is a member of both the Texas and Dallas bar associations, and presently serves on the executive committee of the Association of Fire & Casualty Companies of Texas.
