National Elections Held for AICP Board of Directors

September 26, 2008

Reston, Va. — The Association for Insurance Compliance Professionals (AICP), Reston, Va., announced the following elections results for the 2008-2009 board of directors:

VP/President Elect – Ginny McHugh, Secretary – Joe Bieniek, Treasurer – Jim Morgan, Great Lakes Regional Director – Lea Stokes, Gulf States Regional Director – Ron Hardeman, Midwest Forum Regional Director – Karen Crooks, Northwest Regional Director – Steve Youngkrantz & Western Regional Director – Shirley Grossman.

Leadership positions on the board of directors are voluntary and open to all AICP members. Election to the board is recognition of an individual’s leadership skills, value-added activities in the insurance compliance community and commitment to the AICP.

The nominating committee was chaired by Katie Gurnett along with volunteers Walter Kozuch, Mary Keim, Penny Kilberry, BJ Baldwin, Peggy Schwartz, Susan Byrnes and Steve LeHew. 

Regional Directors are elected to serve two-year terms. The VP/president elect will serve a three-year term. Treasurer and secretary are one-year terms.
