Amerisure Appoints New IT Exec
New IT AVP Jeffrey Trees will help develop the company's enterprise systems; two other executive appointments also announced.

Amerisure Mutual Insurance, a P&C insurance company, has appointed Jeffrey Trees as AVP, information technology; Michael Heinle as director of regulatory compliance and product maintenance; and John Heicher as director of market segment and product development.
Amerisure says Jeffrey Trees brings 20 years of experience in the IT industry to the company. He will help develop the company's enterprise systems and execute Amerisure’s technology infrastructure initiatives. Prior, he worked with Visteon Corp. and Accenture. Trees reports to Shawn O’Rourke, VP, information technology.
Michael Heinle is charged with developing relationships with insurance regulators in Amerisure’s key operating states, says the company. He also will oversee the rate, rule and form filing processes, as well as manage the product maintenance, product publishing and assessments functions. Heinle reports to Ted Wagner, VP, corporate underwriting and loss control. He previously held positions at the Illinois Department of Insurance, CNA Insurance and Litchfield Cavo LLP.
Amerisure says John Heicher, CIC, CRM reports to Gerald Chiddick, VP, marketing. Heicher brings 24 years of experience and will identify and develop strategies to expand the company’s product and market segment approach. He also will also oversee the evaluation of Insurance Services Offices Inc. (ISO) forms and Amerisure’s existing proprietary non-standard products. Heicher previously was the underwriting consulting director at CNA HealthPro.
