Alberta Motor Association Turns to MajescoMastek for Billing Solution

Initial implementation of STG Billing to concentrate on personal and commercial auto, property and accident insurance.

Alberta Motor Association Insurance Company (AMA Insurance) has purchased the STG Billing solution from MajescoMastek. STG Billing is intended as a configurable solution to address enterprise billing, payments and disbursement functionalities. The initial implementation will focus on personal and commercial auto, property and accident insurance.

“We needed a system that could effectively manage our multiple distribution channels and enable us to deliver the level of exceptional customer service that we require,” said Bob Hillman, VP Finance. “We were initially looking to build a solution in-house. After completion of initial requirements we determined it would be more cost effective to purchase a solution. STG Billing provides us with out-of-the-box functionality that meets most of our needs, but can be further configured in-house.”

According to MajescoMastek, the STG Billing system is intended to enable AMA Insurance to:

• Streamline and automate the billing and receivable processes

• Integrate with multiple policy administration, general ledger and accounts payables systems

• Migrate data through MajescoMastek’s data conversion solutions and methodologies

• Support various billing methods

• Perform payments, disbursement and collections functions and reduce manual processes

STG Billing is entirely Java based and contains tools to customize business rules and design payment, collection, disbursement and delinquency plans. STG Billing’s workflow management is intened to streamline the collection of payments and increase cash flow without sacrificing accuracy or consistency.
