Accenture Updates Claims Management Software

New version designed to support increasingly complex insurance policy products.

Accenture has unveiled an enhanced version of its claims management software platform, Accenture Claim Components, designed to help P&C insurers process claims more quickly and efficiently as well as improve customer satisfaction. Claim Components was upgraded to support increasingly complex insurance policy products with more flexible claim definitions, improving ease-of-use for adjusters and claims professionals.

Accenture says Claim Components, release 10.2, features a single claims folder; multiple claims formats; enhanced data tools; and precise claims history. Additionally, enhanced workflow navigation and improved channel configuration capabilities are included. According to Accenture, it received a Strong Positive—the highest possible rating—in Gartner’s latest "MarketScope for North American Property and Casualty Insurance Claims Management Modules" for the Claim Components solution.
