New York Life Adds Deputy CFO Duties to SVP's Plate
John Fleurant's responsibilities grow while retaining current role as SVP of finance.

New York Life announced today that John Fleurant has been promoted to deputy CFO, a new position reporting to EVP and CFO Michael Sproule. As deputy CFO, Fleurant will retain his current roles as SVP of finance and controller, positions he has occupied since joining the company in 2010.
New York Life says that, before he joined the company, Fleurant served as controller at Prudential Financial. After joining Prudential in 1995, he held positions of increasing responsibility, including CFO for domestic businesses. Prior, he was a senior manager for Deloitte & Touche http://www.deloitte.com, where he spent nine years.
