Life of the South Acquires Darby & Associates

Life of the South, a Fortegra Financial company, announced another acquisition. The provider and administrator of credit insurance and payment protection services acquired Darby & Associates from Dave and Judy Darby.
Darby & Associates specialize in delivering credit insurance solutions to the independent consumer finance market in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia, according to Life of the South.
“Dave [Darby] has been an important partner to Life of the South for many years,” says Mike Ferris, first VP of Life of the South. “We are happy to have the opportunity to carry on his dedication to service without interruption to our mutual customers. Dave will continue his work with us on a reduced schedule over the next 24 months as he transitions into retirement.”
