The Principal Earns Top Rankings for Plan Web Sites

Des Moines, Iowa — As part of DALBAR Inc.’s third quarter 2008 WebMonitor Rankings and Trending report, the financial-services market research firm ranked Principal Financial Group’s (The Principal) defined contribution plan sponsor site as the No. 1 plan sponsor site. It also ranked The Principal's defined contribution plan participant site No. 3.

According to DALBAR, the strength of the sites’ ratings is due to the quality and range of capabilities provided to plan sponsors and the effectiveness with which plan administrators and participants can perform activities online.
