Applied Systems Names COO

March 13, 2008

University Park, Ill. — Insurance technology company Applied Systems Inc., which also provides broker management systems and services for accounting, customer, policy, claims management and all related agency functions, recently named Mark Layden its new COO.
 
Applied Systems Chairman and CEO James Kellner said the new COO’s responsibilities include overseeing its technology division.

Layden, a technology industry veteran, most recently was VP and GM of products and innovation at Fair Isaac Corp., a decision management solutions company.
 
“I am delighted to be part of the Applied System’s team and hope to contribute enterprise-class technology perspective and high-performance process to our product and service offerings, which are already the best in the industry,” Layden says. “Our efforts will continue to ensure that we provide the greatest advantage to our customers and other important industry stakeholders.”
