Life of the South Names Pelletier VP & Chief Actuary

Jacksonville, Fla. — Life of the South Corp., a provider and administrator of credit insurance and payment protection services, announced that Elaine Pelletier, ASA, MAAA, joined the company as VP and chief actuary. 
 
Pelletier brings to her new position extensive experience in credit insurance, payment protection products and group benefits. For the past nine years, she has been a consulting actuary with Credit Re, a consulting firm specializing in actuarial, accounting, risk management, and risk transfer solutions for credit-related protection products and service contracts offered by lenders, retailers and auto dealers.

"She has worked with Life of the South as a consultant for many years, and she is well known to many of our clients, partners and reinsurers.
