Curian Capital Names Sprague Divisional VP

January 4, 2008

Denver – Curian Capital LLC, a registered investment advisor that provides a fee-based, separately managed account platform to financial professionals, appointed Lloyd Sprague divisional VP for the Eastern region. Sprague will be responsible for managing a team of 15 external and internal regional business consultants, and overseeing educational and training efforts for Curian’s wholesalers.

Sprague joins Curian after nearly 10 years with Transamerica Capital, where he most recently served as divisional VP for the company’s West region, managing a team of 17 external wholesalers. Prior to that, he was an internal wholesaler for Jackson National Life Distributors LLC, and also held positions with Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. and Scudder, Stevens & Clark Inc.
