New York Life Appoints Blunt and Thrope

December 10, 2007

New York — New York Life Insurance Co. announced the appointment of Christopher Blunt and Susan Thrope to its Executive Management Committee. 

Blunt is senior VP and COO for the Life and Annuity operations, the company’s largest revenue generator. Thrope is senior VP, deputy general counsel and secretary of New York Life. 

The Executive Management Committee is comprised of New York Life's senior executive leadership and assists the CEO in setting policy for the company.
