Smith Installed as President of AICP

December 3, 2007

Bellevue, Wash. — The Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals (AICP) named Brady Smith, an Insurance Compliance Analyst with Symetra Life Insurance Co., Bellevue, Wash., president for the 2007-2008 term.

A 31-year veteran of the insurance industry, Smith joined the AICP (formerly the Society of State Filers) in 1985. He has been actively involved in the organization throughout its growth and development from a property/casualty-oriented state filings group to an insurance compliance organization that includes insurance professionals in all lines of insurance.

Smith has been VP of the Association, Northwest Chapter President, Regional Director and both National and Regional Editor of the AICP’s Journal for Insurance Compliance Professionals.
