Ameriana Insurance Agency to Purchase Chapin-Hayworth Insurance Agency

Ameriana Insurance Agency, which offers a full line of products, including automobile, homeowners, business, health and life insurance as well as annuities, signed an agreement to purchase the book of business of the Chapin-Hayworth Insurance Agency Inc. The transaction is expected to close on or before July 1, 2009.
Following the purchase, Ruth Hayworth, the current owner of Chapin-Hayworth Insurance Agency, a multi-line property/casualty insurance agency, and her staff will remain and continue to serve existing and new clients as part of Ameriana.
