Jeffrey Glazer
President, Insurance Services Division
LexisNexis RIAG
Jeffrey Glazer manages all aspects of LexisNexis Insurance Services division, which provides unique underwriting engines driven by data, a high-growth software business, business outsourcing, fraud and claims solutions for the P&C Personal and Commercial insurance industry. Glazer began his career working for the Hartford Insurance Group where he gained expertise in both personal and commercial lines insurance and technology. When he left the Hartford in 1985 he was a senior officer responsible for commercial lines insurance. He founded his own company in 1985, focusing on developing innovative software insurance solutions. His company, Programming Resources Company, was purchased by Equifax in 1994. At Equifax, Glazer served as vice president of the Insurance division, where he was responsible for the market leading software provided to the Commercial Property/Casualty industry. After ChoicePoint spun off from Equifax in 1997, Glazer joined the ChoicePoint team in its Insurance division as vice president. Glazer holds a degree in mathematics from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Matt McKernan
Matt McKernan oversees the company's products and services for Property & Casualty and Life & Health carriers, Managing General Agents (MGAs), reinsurers and premium finance companies. These products include the ImageRight content management and work flow solution, AIM (Agency Information Manager), Phoenix policy administration system, FinancePro premium finance solutions, and agent-carrier connectivity services. Prior to joining Vertafore, McKernan held a variety of executive positions during a 10-year career at CheckFree, a business unit of Fiserv Corp., a Fortune 500 company with a nearly $6 billion market cap that provides information management and electronic commerce systems and services to the financial industry. Most recently McKernan was senior vice president and general manager of CheckFree's Health and Fitness Division and its Biller Business Division. Prior to CheckFree, McKernan held sales positions at Reuters America and Dow Jones.

Connie Jasper Woodroof ,FLMI
Connie Jasper Woodroof began her career in the insurance industry in 1984 and has held various positions from staff accountant to controller. Her experience covered both the life industry and the property/casualty industry. She was employed with the NAIC from 1992 through 2001, where she gained valuable experience and insight into their operations. Since 2002, she has been the NAIC Liaison for StoneRiver, formerly Fiserv Insurance Solutions, where she helps both StoneRiver and its clients keep abreast of events at the NAIC, researches accounting and reporting questions and provides statutory statement accounting and preparation training. In addition, she serves as the co-chair of the industry Interested Parties group of the NAIC Blanks Working Group and is active on several other NAIC Interested Parties groups. Ms. Woodroof serves on the National IASA Education, Text Book, and Chapters Committees and is the current Director of the Accounting, Risk, and Finance (A.R.F.) educational sessions for the 2009 IASA Annual Educational Conference and Business Show. Connie is a frequent speaker on NAIC issues at IASA Chapter meetings and a former IASA volunteer of the year. Woodroof holds an undergraduate degree in accounting and has obtained her FLMI designation. Connie is listed in several different Who’s Who publications.

Rod Travers

Robert E. Nolan Company
Rod Travers is Senior Vice President of the Robert E. Nolan Company, a management consulting firm specializing in the insurance industry for 35 years. The Nolan Company works with insurance companies to improve business operations through strategic planning, process innovation, and the proper use of technology. Rod has been with Nolan for 23 years and specializes in information systems management and automation technologies for the insurance industry. His work with Nolan clients involves IT effectiveness, process improvement, and process automation in areas such as BPM, imaging & workflow, claims automation, document management, web commerce, and field automation. Rod also manages Nolan's vendor-neutral liaison program which identifies and qualifies insurance technology solutions. Rod is a frequent speaker at industry conferences including IASA, LOMA, ISOTech, and PCI. He has authored articles in CIO Magazine, Computerworld Executive Suite, and IASA Interpreter. He is a content contributor to industry journals including Insurance & Technology magazine and TechDecisions.

Mike Holmes
Accounting Supervisor
State Auto Insurance Companies
Mike Holmes is an accounting supervisor for State Auto Insurance Companies. State Auto writes business in 33 states through approximately 3400 independent agencies focusing on both personal and business insurance. Mr. Holmes oversees the statistical reporting of data to statistical agents and state insurance departments for the State Auto Insurance Group. Prior to joining State Auto Mr. Holmes worked for National Independent Statistical Service, a statistical agent. Mr. Holmes also previously worked for PALM, a software company and Indiana Insurance Company. Mr. Holmes is a long time IASA volunteer. He served at the International level as well as at the local chapter level where he was an officer of the Midwest Chapter and the Indianapolis Chapter.

Joseph Pomilia
Executive Director
Insurance Accounting & Systems Association
Joseph Pomilia is executive director for the Insurance Accounting & Systems Association. Mr. Pomilia became the first executive director in the more than 75 year history of the Association. The IASA serves the education, information and networking needs of thousands of insurance industry professionals. As executive director Mr. Pomilia oversees all operations of the association and is an insurance and financial services industry spokesperson on financial and technology issues. Prior to joining IASA Mr. Pomilia worked for the National Association of Independent Insurers (now the Property Casualty Insurance Association of America) as an industry advocate on financial regulation and legislation. Mr. Pomilia also previously worked for Zurich Insurance and for the Office of the Special Deputy (a division of the Illinois Department of Insurance). Mr. Pomilia is a CPA and a graduate of Northern Illinois University.

Jim Keal
Vice President, Finance
Accident Fund/United Heartland
Jim Keal joined United Heartland in 2006 as vice president of Finance, a role that expanded in 2007 to include both Accident Fund and United Heartland. Prior to joining the enterprise, Keal held executive finance positions at Houston Casualty Company, ACUITY, SECURA and Coopers & Lybrand. He holds the Certified Public Accountant designation. Keal is a member of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is the president-elect of the Insurance Accounting & Systems Association.

Mark Gorman
Mark B. Gorman & Assoc., LLC
Mark Gorman is a principal with Mark B. Gorman & Associates. With more than 25 years of industry experience, Mark's focus is on assisting both insurance carriers and vendors in furthering the adoption of emerging technologies in the insurance market. As a former executive in the insurance market, Mark has been responsible for setting strategic direction in identifying, developing and executing on new products and services to achieve success. While doing so, Mark has gained deep experience and expertise in helping insurers bridge the gap between business requirements and technology capabilities. He is now committed to helping insurers take advantage of emerging data and technology solutions that will drive profitability, revenue growth, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Mark received an MBA from the University of Minnesota. He is a Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, and has held NASD Series 7, 63, 24 and 65 licenses.
