Wisconsin Independent Agencies Come Together

One of the largest insurance agencies in Wisconsin grows with the acquisition of Burkart-Heisdorf.

McClone has acquired Burkart-Heisdorf Insurance Agency Inc., transaction completed Dec. 31, 2012.

McClone says it helps companies and individuals drive down their risk. With office locations in the Fox Valley, Oshkosh, Fond du Lac, and Milwaukee markets in Wisconsin, McClone has more than 70 employees.

Burkart-Heisdorf has a main office in Sheboygan as well as locations in Mount Horeb and Green Lake, Wis. The full lines insurance agency employs more than 40 in its three locations, says McClone.

Burkart-Heisdorf Insurance will continue to operate under its current name and locations. Its agency ownership group and employees all are continuing as employees of the newly combined organization.
