Protective Life Names New Chief Risk Officer
Previously holding the same position for Unum Group, Michael Temple will take over as risk officer by the end of the year.

Protective Life Corp. appointed Michael Temple as EVP and chief risk officer, effective Dec. 3. In his role, Temple will lead the company’s Enterprise Risk Management program. This program includes risk culture and governance, modeling, and risk reporting. He will be a member of the Protective Life’s executive leadership team, reporting to John D. Johns, chairman, president and CEO.
