Federal Flood Insurance Program Extended Again

The program will continue until November 18.

Thanks to a stop-gap measure that keeps the federal government “open for business,” the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) also received temporary resuscitation.

The Senate passed similar funding legislation last week, making way this afternoon for the U.S. House of Representatives to pass legislation that officially extends the program until November 18.
