New Version of GEICO App for iPad Released

App redesigned to now include one-touch pay, interactive insurance charts and self-help videos.

GEICO has redesigned the GEICO App for iPad, for greater convenience and an enhanced visual experience, the company said.

“Tablets have revolutionized and streamlined how consumers conduct their day-to-day business activities,” says Pete Meoli, GEICO Mobile manager. “With the new GEICO App for iPad, we’ve focused on expanding the convenience features of the app as well as enhancing our customer’s tablet experience.”

The app now includes one-touch pay, swipe and explore interaction, and interactive insurance charts. Customers now have the ability upload photos of insured vehicles and drivers, and view policy information and digital ID cards. The app also features self-help, how-to-videos by GEICO’s NASCAR driver Casey Mears.

“iPad users are more likely to spend an increased amount of time perusing a site than with any other mobile device,” said Steve Smith, GEICO assistant vice president for information technology. “With that in mind, we created the new GEICO app for iPad with quicker access to onscreen information in a visually inspiring format.”
