MetroMile App Using Data to Notify Customers of Potential Parking Tickets
The usage-based insurer adds new feature to its app to help San Francisco customers avoid parking tickets; says other markets will soon follow.

MetroMile, a usage-based insurance carrier, announced a new feature to the company’s free mobile app and connected car device to help users avoid street-sweeping parking tickets. The app will send a notification 12 hours before the street sweeping time and a reminder an hour before street sweeping occurs.
