IT Spending to Pass $2T in 2013

Gartner's first IT forecast of the year anticipates a 5.7-percent increase from 2012's final IT spending tally.

Spending on IT software, services and devices will top $2 trillion overall this year, buoyed by rebounds across all market sectors from 2012’s shaky global economic conditions, according to the first new forecast of the year from Gartner Research.
