The Guardian Launches eApp With e-Sign
Insurer eliminates paper processing requirements for individual disability income policy administration.
Insurance Networking News, January 8, 2013
The Guardian Life Insurance Co. of America has launched e-App with e-Sign for its suite of individual disability income insurance solutions. According to the insurer, e-App is a web-based alternative to taking paper applications, and e-Sign eliminates the need to acquire ink signatures from applicants.
Guardian says the e-App with e-Sign offers agents and their clients a questionnaire-style experience that reduces steps and makes completing the application easy; and a system that automatically pre-populates applications with existing client data, identifies the forms needed and assembles a complete application package from the start.
In addition, the e-App features the ability to view, sign and witness applications electronically; a dashboard that enables the agent to keep his client apprised of the application’s progress; and a faster decision on whether and how much coverage has been approved.
