Chubb Honored as Outstanding Insurance Company Partner

IIABNY also recognizes three other insurers with annual awards.

Chubb Group was honored with Outstanding Company Partner Awards in both the commercial insurance and personal insurance categories, by the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of New York (IIABNY), at the end of its annual Capital Day at the Hotel Albany.

Preferred Mutual Insurance Co. also was recognized in both commercial and personal insurance categories at the super-regional level, and Dryden Mutual Insurance Co. was honored in the commercial category at the regional level. In the personal insurance category, Sterling Insurance Co. won at the regional level.

The awards are presented to the companies that receive top scores in the IIABNY Industry Index, which measures performance in underwriter empowerment; technology ease of use; honest and fair treatment of agencies and customers; company personnel responsiveness; and fairness of compensation arrangements.

IIABNY compiles scores based on survey responses from New York insurance producers, and Thomas Crowley, IIABNY Chair of the Board, presented the awards.
