Brotherhood Mutual Purchases Billing Upgrade

Insurer looks for greater flexibility and efficiency from BillingCenter, a Guidewire product.

Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Co., an insurer of churches and related ministries, has selected BillingCenter as its billing management system for all of its lines of business. BillingCenter, a comprehensive billing and receivables management system, is a product of Guidewire Software Inc., a provider of flexible core system software to P&C insurers.

Guidewire says Brotherhood Mutual wanted to provide its staff with a flexible system based on modern technology that could be easily maintained and adapt to state and regulatory changes and internal business changes. Additionally, Brotherhood Mutual sought a system that would help it continue to provide high service levels to its customers and increase its operational efficiencies.

BillingCenter will enable Brotherhood Mutual to increase customer service levels by offering account level billing and flexible payment plans; more easily and quickly implement system changes; and increase operational efficiency by automating the billing lifecycle, while employing business best practices, says Guidewire.
