Agencyport Software, a provider of policy distribution software and services to the property/casualty insurance industry, today announced the release of BookSmart 2.5, the latest version of its book roll migration and analysis solution.
BookSmart is an automated solution for migrating and analyzing P&C books of business, designed to allow carriers to acquire bulk data from agents; migrate bulk data between internal policy administration systems or carrier to carrier; evaluate internal rating and underwriting; and analyze their agents’ books of business.
According to Agencyport, the latest version of BookSmart adds Data Encryption At Rest functionality, in an attempt to ensure that data residing within carriers’ databases is encrypted, even before being transmitted anywhere. This new security feature is in addition to a social security number masking. BookSmart 2.5 also adds capabilities for Standalone Personal Umbrella business and Multi-Location Personal Homeowners policies, which stands in addition to the nine personal and commercial lines of business that BookSmart already handled.
Steve Hauck, co-CEO of Agencyport said: "With each release, BookSmart builds out its position as the leading automated solution for analyzing and migrating books of business. Added security and more lines of business within the 2.5 version means more product value for more types of carriers.”
