5 Insurers Make List of Top 50 Companies for Executive Women
New York Life, State Farm among those honored; see companies broken down by percentage of women holding executive responsibilities.

The National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) placed five insurers: Aetna, Allstate, Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance, New York Life and State Farm, on a list of the top 50 companies for female executives.
It was the fifth selection in a row for New York Life, which released a statement in which Maria Mauceri, VP and Actuary, Human Resources Department for New York Life, said the company was honored to be selected again.
In order to be eligible, companies must have at least two women on their boards and at least 1,000 employees. In addition to assessing corporate programs and policies dedicated to advancing women, NAFE analyzed the number of women at the highest ranks and those with profit-and-loss responsibilities.
